William P. Sloan,
President
 

Bill is the founder and president of Morbill Associates. He has over 30 years of experience in residential home building. Bill works closely with clients throughout the planning and design phases of new homes, and maintains a close level of contact with buyers throughout the entire building process. He is known within the Northern Virginia building industry for his level of detail, understanding, and customer care. Construction is in Bill’s genealogy.  Bill’s grandfather started a construction business in 1907 in Northern New Jersey and his father continued that business in the same area. Bill has a bachelor and law degree from Tulane University, and is also a C.P.A.

 

Maureen S. Sloan,
Vice President

 

Maureen is intricately involved with customers in the house design and interior selection process. She also heads the Marketing and Land Acquisition department of the company. She is a licensed realtor in Virginia, and is affiliated with McEnearney  Associates  in Mclean, VA. Maureen has worked with Morbill since its inception. She is a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and gained an interest in residential home building from her grandfather who built many homes within the area. Maureen holds a Bachelors degree from Loyola University and a Masters degree from Tulane University.

Taylor S. Sloan,
Director of Planning & Design
 

Taylor works in the area of project feasibility and development.  In connection with the building of a potential new home, he reviews existing site conditions and determines the best options available.  He considers all aspects of a build out, including: topography; building restrictions; architectural designs; and overall space planning.  Taylor works closely with customers, helping them design and plan all aspects of their home.  He has expertise in CAD renderings and interfaces with Morbills architects, structural engineers, and interior designers to bring to fruition an architectural plan ready for permitting.  To assure that architectural plans and details are implemented to the precision expected by our customers, he oversees the quality control of each and every home.  Taylor has a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University.

 

Douglas H. Sloan,
Director of Field Operations

 

Doug manages all field operations. He is responsible for obtaining subcontractor bids and securing quality building materials. Doug monitors the project from the planning phase throughout delivery, ensuring quality craftsmanship and a timely schedule. He works with the project team, keeping them informed throughout the building process. Finally, Doug coordinates all home buyer warranty work to ensure complete and on going customer satisfaction. He is a licensed realtor in Washington, DC.  Doug holds a Bachelors degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
